Puffin Nesting currently offers:

• Private Baby Massage Courses

• Baby Comfort Massage Sessions

The content, duration, location, price and inclusions of each service are described on the relevant service page and during booking.

All services are provided in a baby led manner and are adapted, where appropriate, to the needs and cues of the individual baby.

A booking is confirmed once:

• Your place or appointment has been booked; and

• Full payment, including any applicable travel supplement, has been received, unless another arrangement has been agreed upon.

After your booking is confirmed, you will receive a booking confirmation containing a link to the Client Intake Form, which should be completed at least 48 hours before your first session.

The information provided helps me understand you and your baby, identify any relevant considerations and prepare a safe, personalised and supportive experience.

Parents and caregivers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information and for informing Puffin Nesting of any relevant changes before or during the service.

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless another arrangement has been agreed upon.

The price displayed and agreed upon at the time of booking applies to that booking. Puffin Nesting may change prices for future bookings.

Any applicable travel supplement must be selected and paid during booking.

For services provided in your home, travel within 5 km driving distance of Statenkwartier, The Hague is included in the service price.

Travel supplements apply outside this area. Current travel rates are stated on the relevant service page and during booking.

Clients are responsible for checking the one-way driving distance from Statenkwartier, The Hague, using Google Maps and selecting the corresponding travel option when booking.

Puffin Nesting will verify the travel distance after receiving the booking.

If an incorrect travel option has been selected, I will contact you to arrange any outstanding payment or refund any overpayment. A booking may be cancelled if an outstanding travel supplement is not paid.

For locations more than 15 km driving distance from Statenkwartier, please contact Puffin Nesting before booking.

Any parking fees incurred during a home visit are the responsibility of the client and are not included in the service price or travel supplement.

I understand that life with a baby can be unpredictable. Illness, changing routines and unexpected circumstances happen.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please contact me as soon as possible. Wherever possible, I will work with you to find a suitable alternative that works for both of us, subject to availability.

For private sessions and courses, an alternative appointment may be arranged where availability allows.

For group courses, sessions take place on scheduled dates and places are limited. If you are unable to attend one of the sessions, please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss the available options. A missed group session cannot always be rescheduled or replaced.

If you or your baby are unwell, please contact me before attending so we can decide whether the session should go ahead or be rescheduled.

If Puffin Nesting needs to cancel or reschedule a session, I will contact you as soon as possible and, wherever possible, offer a suitable alternative.

Any refunds or cancellations will be handled taking into account the circumstances of the booking and any applicable statutory consumer rights.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under applicable Dutch or EU consumer law.

All Puffin Nesting sessions are baby led.

Your baby's needs always come first. There is always space during a session for:

• Feeding

• Nappy changes

• Cuddles

• Rest

• Comfort breaks

• Questions and discussion

A full massage routine may not always be completed if your baby needs something different on the day.

When your baby needs a pause, learning can continue through demonstration and guidance using a demonstration doll.

Before your first session, you will be asked to complete an intake form containing relevant information about your baby.

Please inform Puffin Nesting of any relevant changes to your baby's health or wellbeing, including:

• Fever or signs of illness

• Recent vaccinations

• Medical conditions

• Allergies

• Skin concerns

• Medication

• Any other concern that may affect participation

Baby massage should not take place when your baby has a fever or is unwell.

Following vaccination, please allow your baby at least 48 hours to recover. A session should be postponed if your baby is experiencing side effects, discomfort or is otherwise unwell.

If you are unsure whether baby massage is appropriate for your baby, please contact Puffin Nesting before your session and, where appropriate, seek advice from your healthcare provider.

Puffin Nesting may postpone, adapt or stop a session where this is considered appropriate for your baby's comfort or safety.

Parents and caregivers remain responsible for their baby throughout every Puffin Nesting session.

You are encouraged to:

• Follow your baby's cues

• Pause or stop massage whenever your baby needs a break

• Adapt or stop any technique if your baby shows signs of discomfort

• Share relevant health or wellbeing information

• Ask questions or communicate concerns at any time

Parents and caregivers practise massage techniques on their own baby. Techniques are demonstrated by Puffin Nesting using a demonstration doll, with guidance provided throughout the session.

Puffin Nesting provides education and complementary support around baby massage, nurturing touch and parent–baby connection.

Puffin Nesting services do not include:

• Medical assessment or diagnosis

• Treatment of medical conditions

• Clinical advice or healthcare interventions

• Replacement of care or advice from healthcare professionals

If concerns arise regarding your baby's health, development or wellbeing, you may be encouraged to seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional, such as your GP, midwife, child health clinic or paediatrician.

Photography or video taken by Puffin Nesting will only take place with explicit parental or legal guardian consent.

Providing consent is entirely optional. Choosing not to provide consent will never affect your ability to participate in or receive a Puffin Nesting service.

Parents and caregivers are welcome to take personal photographs during sessions, provided this does not interfere with the baby-led nature of the session or the privacy of other families.

During group sessions, please do not photograph or record other parents, babies or participants without their explicit permission.

Video recording of massage techniques, demonstrations, teaching or instructional content is not permitted.

Puffin Nesting teaching materials and instructional content may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

The safety and wellbeing of babies and families are central to Puffin Nesting.

Information shared during sessions will be treated respectfully and confidentially. However, confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by law or where action or information sharing is necessary in connection with a serious concern about a child's safety or wellbeing.

Puffin Nesting follows applicable safeguarding responsibilities and the principles of the Dutch Meldcode Huiselijk Geweld en Kindermishandeling.

I aim to provide every family with a warm, respectful and professional experience.

If something has not met your expectations, please contact me as soon as possible so that I can understand your concerns and try to find an appropriate solution.

Complaints will be handled respectfully and confidentially and responded to as promptly as reasonably possible.

Occasionally, Puffin Nesting may need to change, postpone or cancel a session or course due to illness, venue availability, unforeseen circumstances or other circumstances outside reasonable control.

Where Puffin Nesting cancels a service and a suitable alternative cannot be arranged, any amount paid for the affected service will be refunded as appropriate.

By booking a Puffin Nesting service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions do not affect any statutory rights available to you under applicable Dutch or EU consumer law.
